Our Expertise
Central London & Heritage
Our Bloomsbury based practice has been working in Central London since 2006. Through working within the oldest areas of London, we have developed an expertise in working with historic buildings. These are often Listed and situated within a Conservation Area. Our approach consistently secures Planning Consents, Listed Building Consents and Great Estate Licences.
Our work is primarily within the Central London boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Camden. Many parts of these historic boroughs were developed by old aristocratic families (examples being Grosvenor, Cadogan, De Walden, Portman and Bedford) who still own large swathes of prime Central London. These Great Estates still have significant influence either through direct ownership or through various stewardship schemes, an example being the Belgrave Estate Management Scheme administered by Grosvenor. Schemes such as this enable the Estate to exert control over the use, development, and appearance of the designated area.
New Build
We have a growing body of new-build work in Central London and the UK. Even within the strict planning environment in historic boroughs such as Kensington and Chelsea, we managed to gain planning consent for exciting new-build projects because each of our designs are bespoke and respond sensitively to its unique context.
Rural Projects
We have an expanding portfolio of projects in the east and south-east of England as well as projects as far as Scotland. Much of this work consist of rural farm conversions, with a number of barn refurbishments for owner-occupiers and developers alike.
Boutique Hotels
We are innovative and design-led architects who have experience with producing sophisticated Boutique Hotels within the UK and abroad. At Rodić Davidson, we hold a particular specialism for designing within historically sensitive scenarios, which we find integral in the culturally rich cities in which we are based, London and Cambridge. We can advise on design opportunities in order to create the desired curated visitor experience that all Boutique Hotels strive for.
Sustainability
We strive to make sustainability improvements to all of our projects. We have experience of designing to exacting sustainability standards such as BREEAM Outstanding and Passivhaus. Due to our work on heritage buildings, we regularly engage with how best to upgrade existing buildings whilst also meeting Listed Building requirements and retaining their intrinsic character. Retrofitting and upgrading is also inherently sustainable: by prioritising fabric improvements over demolition and rebuilding, the carbon embodied within the existing materials is retained in use rather than being demolished and requiring additional carbon consumption for rebuilding.
Interior Design
Our in-house team of interior designers broadens services including bespoke furniture and joinery and lighting design. We help to wade through the endless supply of products and samples and present our clients with the finest materials and crafts for their projects. We work closely with the architectural team to provide a seamless design experience.

Client Testimonials
It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable.

Private clientLorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen.
Mr. J. Uffindell
Private ClientThere are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything hidden in the middle.
