These townhouses were originally built in the late 1800’s as single-family houses and since divided into apartments consisting of small, divided spaces. The terrace is set back from the main road screened by large trees allowing the reception and dining areas to have a calm and natural outlook.
The addition of a rooflight and glazing allows natural light to permeate into the centre of the apartment. The ceilings of the two large bedrooms to the rear of the apartment have been raised, increasing the volume and scale of the spaces. A third bedroom has been added with all three bedrooms being served by Ensuites.
The interiors have been carefully crafted to provide a luxurious home, with the doors to the reception removed and opening widened to reveal a more open spacious plan with bespoke joinery, paneling and cornicing. The property has been sensitively renovated in order to enhance and reinstate the qualities of the host building with a modern interpretation of traditional interior design.
